{142/365} Ummm, New Bangs!





Um, so yeah, I cut myself some bangs a few days ago. I haven't had bangs since I was in Junior High! I was really wanting a change hair-wise and I'm not too sure about cutting it (though I really could use a trim, badly!) and I'm also growing out the hair color (I haven't had a full head of my real hair color since Junior High either, lol). I'm still getting used to the bangs. It's weird having hair in my face all the time...and honestly it drives me a bit nuts, so I've been keeping a hair clip with me so that I can just strap 'em back to the side of my head, lol!

Today was day 3 of my new running routine. I have been doing a 20 minute workout video everyday and lately it's just gotten to the point where it's just too boring and I dread working out to it...so running it is. I've been doing 20 minutes of running and then 15-20 minutes of strength. I feel awesome and I've lost 3/4 of inch off of my waist! I'm so excited! I've still not seen a great weight loss, I've concluded that I'm gaining more muscle than I thought and still burning fat...I haven't gained which is awesome! I do see myself getting smaller...just no poundage to prove it, lol!

I lost 50 pounds but gained a great friend.
By early 2006 I had gotten a little carried away.... I think I lost too much weight! But I was enjoying the workouts and I felt great. My total weight loss from 2004 until this picture was nearly 45 lbs.

Between 2006 and 2010 I slowly (very slowly) stopped my regular exercise routines. The late night snacks (did I mention I love ice cream) eventually crept back into my routine. The result? I'm sure you can guess. So, I called my old friend Matt and I'm back at it again. I'll post those before and after pictures in a few months! Wish me luck.
